...my buddy Tyler runs a cool site called Fun With Horror and has been added to the Horror Guy's list of
Blood Brothers. Check it out!
...the first half of season two of The Walking Dead has wrapped up, and I gotta say it's been pretty lackluster so far. The mid-season finale was a great improvement over the rest of the season so far. Hopefully the series will maintain this momentum as it would be a crime for this once great show to befall the fate of other "started out awesome" series such as Heroes.
...however, the new NBC series Grimm is very entertaining. Kinda like a Law & Order series with supernatural elements thrown in. The fact that it's also filmed here in beautiful Portland, Oregon adds to its entertainment factor for this Horror Guy. If you haven't had a chance to catch it yet, the early episodes should still be available on demand or via NBC.com.
...just started on the "D" section of my movie library and recently entertained Thundercat with a showing of the 1981 classic Dead and Buried. This one was just as entertaining as I remembered it since I last saw it many years ago.
...next up for viewing from the Horror Guy Pre-Memorial Movie Library is Italian horror maestro Lamberto Bava's Demons! Look for my retro-review of this one soon.
